2. Re: Sanur or Canggu. Sanur and Canggu are very different. Sanur is laid back and chilled, while Canggu is busy. Sanur has a much, much better beach, but in my opinion Canggu probably has better cafes and restaurants. It can be quite a trek from Canggu to Kuta, especially if the traffic is bad.
It is past Canggu and Echo Beach, in fact I think it is the next beach after Echo Beach. You will not find any shops there and you will certainly need that car and driver for 12 hours a day. You will find a few restaurants at Echo Beach but will still need to drive about 10 minutes to get there.
