Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCI Mk4 won't start. The car has recently been serviced and had a dpf replaced (yesterday). Drove 100 miles to work and now the car won't start. The engine is turning but is not catching at all. The fuel line on the right side of the engine as you look is full of air.

Posted November 24, 2014. Driving it hard won't start an active regen, as said the ECU won't know that you're going to be driving hard for a long period of time. IF you could get the DPF up to ~450c just by driving it, it will burn the paticulates without needing any extra help. Thats a 'Passive' regen.
